What is Puja/Pooja ?
Every being has right to perform puja. Puja is the act of showing reverence to a god, a spirit, or another aspect of the divine through invocations, prayers, songs, and rituals. An essential part of puja is making a spiritual connection with the divine. Homas are powerful ancient fire ceremonies that have been performed in India by the Vedic sages for over thousands of years. Various offerings like flowers, different grains, ghee, herbs, sticks of certain trees are offered into the sacrificial fire along with the powerful chanting of mantras. The energy generated enables to tune into the Cosmic consciousness or God whereby his prayers are answered. Anybody can have a puja/homa performed in his/her name. You can order a homa for yourself, for your family or a friend or for your bussiness/company. Mention the type of puja/homa you want, your name, date of birth, zodiac sign and also attach a photo. It is indeed good if the client could be physically present but if not possible, a photograph would serve the purpose. The client can sit in meditation wherever he/she is as the homa is performed. Homas can act across time and space because the pujari (performer) mentally holds the picture of the client and performs the homa, the client would feel the effects. The puja/homas are performed regularly on specific dates as well as on auspicious days. You can either choose a specific date or we can suggest you auspicious dates for the puja/homa to be performed. |
